Melina Mara Awarded First Place in Political Portfolio

Melina Mara of the Washington Post awarded First Place in the Political Portfolio category in the 2017 Eyes of History Still Contest. Andrew Harnik of the Associated Press was awarded Second Place and Brendan Smialowski of Agence France-Presse was awarded Third Place. Awards of Excellence were given to Doug Mills of the New York Times, Jim Watson of Agence France-Presse and Pete Marovich, freelance.
